All Aboard the Band Wagon!!

Well, it has been a long time in the thought process, but I am finally jumping on the band wagon...the blog wagon that is. Maybe I am a little bit of a follower at times, but I like to think that I only join in on the really important trends. I seem to be following in my friend Angie's footsteps yet again...first the Jaycees and now this! Thanks Ang...you do always have the best ideas!

Not sure how much I will blog, or how often, but I am fairly sure that it will be much like a conversation with me...all over the place~!!!

I am experiencing a bit of insomnia tonight...er rather this morning. Got a lot of traffic in my brain. On Friday night I will be roasted as the 64th President of the Peoria Jaycees and I keep thinking of what I will say to address the audience. I must say that I am a wee bit concerned about some of what may be said during my roast...I am somewhat idiosynchratic, some might say weird, but that word is sooo overused. Quirky is a kind word too. When I get old I will be reduced to eccentric! Nothin' wrong with that description...is there?

Alrighty, I do believe that sleep may be setting in...computer screens seem to have that affect on me!
