What gorgeous day!

What a gorgeous day! Damn, I am perky today! It is amazing what a little sunshine can do for my mood! The sun is shining and we have had a little of the wet stuff fall over night. I actually got a good night's sleep last night. Insomnia is over...for now anyway.

Tonight is the night that all of my friends and fellow Peoria Jaycee members can actually make fun of me without repercussion. It is my president's roast. I am a little apprehensive, but nothing a couple of drinks won't help! Later, if I'm not too blotto, I will write a little post recapping the evening. Nothing like a lot of booze to get the creative juices flowing!!

Tomorrow I must be at least a little alert...I am assisting in the bridal shower for my good friend Renee. It is pretty much going to be a chill shower. None of those wretched shower games that we have all been subjected to at least once in our lives! It is going to be a martini party out on the patio of Mary and Brad's house...that is if the rain has stayed away. Maybe we could turn it into a roast for Renee...that would be perfect. I can't decide what I want to do on Sunday. Recovery is a definite top of the list, but there are the TT's and Knitting Dynamics hosted by the Peoria Jaycees. The knitting deal is pretty cool, we will be learning how to make infant hats and booties and donating them to shelters for the winter months. I guess I will make that decision depending on how bad my 2 day hangover is.
